Chaucer Breakfast Cafe opens its doors at 8:15 a.m. for those children and parents who would like to have a bite to eat and a drink before the start of the school day.

Breakfast cereal, toast and hot and cold drinks are available at very reasonable prices. Our Family Learning Mentor is on hand to provide some simple activities to keep the children occupied until 8:45 a.m. when they can go to their classes.


All are welcome but we do expect all children to be well behaved and leave the cafe tidy before they go to class.  The school reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone who spoils breakfast time for the others who attend.

Please note that children who are not attending the Breakfast Cafe should not arrive at school until 8:45 a.m. when they can enter the school building and go straight to their classroom.
